Fumaric acid is colorless crystal, soluble in water, slightly soluble in cold water, ether, benzene, easily soluble in hot water, soluble in ethanol. The product is an intermediate of fine chemicals such as medicine and optical bleach, as a food additive - sour agent, used in cooling drinks, fruit drops, jelly, ice cream, etc., also used as a sour condiment, but also used as an intermediate of synthetic resin and mordant. Fumaric acid dryer is widely used in chemical, light industry, medicine, food, plastics, grain and oil, slag, salt, tobacco sugar and other industries of powder, granular materials drying, cooling, humidification and other operations, but also can be used for drying cooling, cooling humidification operations.


Material overview

Fumaric acid, also known as fumaric acid, corydalic acid, or lichenic acid, fumaric acid (IUPAC (E) -fumaric acid), is a colorless, flammable, crystalline carboxylic acid derived from butene. Its chemical formula is C4H4O4. Burning fumaric acid releases the irritating maleic anhydride smoke. It tastes like fruit and is found in corydalis, boletus, lichens and Icelandic nori.


Working principle

The material enters the machine from the feed port and jumps forward on the air distribution plate under the action of the vibration force provided by the vibration motor or other means. At the same time, the air is heated to a certain temperature after being filtered and enters the downwind chamber of the dryer through the tuyere. Under the dual action of the vibration force and the hot air flowing through the air distribution plate, the material is in a suspended state and contacts with the hot air flow. The intense turbulence between the material particles and the hot medium strengthens the heat and mass transfer process. The dried product is discharged from the discharge port, and the evaporated water and waste gas are recovered by the cyclone separator and discharged into the atmosphere. The lower bed body provides a stable air chamber with a certain pressure for the bed. Adjust the induced draft fan, so that the upper part of the bed material in the upper box to maintain a small negative pressure, maintain a good dry environment and prevent dust leakage.

① The material is heated evenly, the heat exchange is sufficient, the drying strength is high, and the energy saving is about 30% compared with the ordinary dryer. The in-machine residence time can be easily changed by adjusting vibration parameters. Working principle

Hot air enters the mixing and grinding drying chamber from the bottom of the dryer at an appropriate jet speed from the air inlet, which has a strong shearing, blowing and rotating effect on the material, so that the material is subjected to centrifuge, shear, collision and friction and is granular, which strengthens the mass and heat transfer. At the bottom of the dryer, the larger wet particles are mechanically broken under the action of the agitator, the particles with lower wet content and smaller particle size are carried up by the rotating air flow, further drying in the rising process, because the gas-solid phase is rotating flow, the inertia of the solid phase is greater than the gas phase, the relative speed between the solid and gas is larger, strengthening the heat transfer effect between the two phases, so the drying strength of the machine is high.
